Eat breakfast at home (as much as you like)… then, while at work, eat only what you NEED (in other words, if you can afford to eat only RM3.00 per meal, avoid overspending it on meals that costs you something like RM3.80!)…
Bring your own water bottle (I know, it reminds you of primary school). Unless your office comes with a water dispenser, its better to bring your own. If you have to go out for lunch with friends, then ais kosong or ’shui cha’ will be just fine.
I spend approximately RM3.50 a day for my meals. I hardly eat lunch and have a light dinner (unless mum makes something special for dinner… hehe).
This is just my personal view and what I’ve been doing all along. Of course, your needs may be different from mine. I’m usually on a high fibre, low oil diet… so you’ll probably imagine what my lunch plate looks like —steam/boiled vege, belacan chili and some tofu.
Hope this helps and good luck!
